The 4th and last Fall Aviation Weather Class is this Monday November 10th at Thunderbird Aviation at the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN starting at 6 P.M. The class is 2 hours long.

1. Review past 3 classes ( 850 mb, 700mb, 500mb temps ).
2. Answer questions from last week.
3. Weather Forecasting Handbook by Tim Vasquez and Preflight Weather Analysis Made Easy by Jerry Miller.
4. Weather Station plots review.
5. Satellite and Radar Review.
6. Short and long range models ( RUC, WRF, GFS ).
7. Strong Fall cold fronts.
8. Fall Thunderstorms.
9. Web Sites.
10. On-line weather courses.
11. How to plan a flight using weather maps.
Have questions about weather then sign up for the October and November classes at Thunderbird Aviation and learn everything about weather from the ground up to 50,000 feet! Starting October 20th I will be teaching a 2 hour class on everything related to weather and how it impacts flying.
